How does Botox® work? Repeated facial movements like smiling and squinting result in lines and creases in our skin. Young skin bounces back into place, unlike more mature skin. As we age, we lose collagen and elastin, which causes the lines to become even deeper. Botox temporarily reduces the amount of facial muscle movement, therefore allowing wrinkles to smooth out ore even preventing wrinkle formation in the first place. This will allow your skin to restore its youthfulness for a period of time.
Erin was the best person to have my first experience with botox! I am so grateful I found her; our consultation was very educational and fun.
